Aha… It’s the opening ceremonies for the season of the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club. (at Granville Island)

What the heck is going on? A whole parade of boats, everyone dressed up on board, and all of them tooting their horns! (at Granville Island)

So we’re standing around by the Old Barn and all of a sudden we hear this *BOOOOOM* and it sounds like someone set off an M80 bomb… We still hear it echoing and then the boys start laughing and we hear Felix say “That was AWESOME!”. They’d found an old deflated child’s ball in the bushes and were pumping it back up and evidently decided to see how big it would get.
